Start with the film you need to deliver

Give the edit your direction
You choose the music and organize footage into wedding sections such as preparation, outdoor portraits, reception, ceremony and party. The sections give Wedit context for choosing and arranging moments. You can select the clips you want it to work with rather than include every file from the shoot.
Wedit analyzes the music, selects moments from the available footage and assembles the sequence. The shot board keeps those choices visible, so you can review the film, remove an unwanted shot and choose an alternative.
Keep your usual finishing workflow
Export a video from Wedit or continue with the timeline in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro. Your original camera files remain available for finishing. See the timeline export guide for the different handoff options.
How your footage is processed
Wedit is a desktop app with cloud processing. It prepares lightweight proxy copies for upload and analysis; your original camera files stay on your computer or storage drive. Keep the app open until upload is complete, and keep the original media available when you return to finish or export.
Preparation and processing time depend on the footage and your internet connection. When cloud processing is complete, you can return to the project and review the result.
Built from wedding editing experience
Wedit was created by wedding filmmaker Ido Golan. Its shot-selection work draws on professionally edited weddings, and the product is built around the same practical choices: which moments belong, how the day is divided and how the film moves into a timeline you can keep editing.
