What can Wedit edit?

Wedit creates wedding highlights and full wedding films from footage you supply. Highlights use your music and wedding sections. Full movie organizes longer work into chapters, including the ceremony, intro and outro. Vertical reels are coming soon.

Does it work on Mac and Windows?

Wedit supports Apple silicon Macs with macOS 13 or later and 64-bit PCs with Windows 10 or Windows 11. Download the version for your computer.

Are the original files uploaded?

Wedit prepares lightweight proxy copies for cloud processing. Your original files remain on your computer or storage drive. Keep the app open during upload and keep the originals available for finishing and export. Live chapters are prepared locally.

Can I use my own music?

Yes. Add your songs and choose the sections and length of the film. You are responsible for the music license required for your delivery.

Can I change the chosen shots?

Yes. Review the edit on the shot board, remove unwanted selections and choose alternatives before exporting. You can return to the earlier steps to work with the files and settings.

How long does processing take?

It depends on the footage, preparation, connection and processing workload. Keep Wedit open until upload finishes. Cloud processing can then continue, and you receive an email when the film is ready.

How is a full movie different from a highlight?

A highlight condenses the day into a short music-led film. Full movie combines longer chapters in one wedding project. Empty chapters are not included in the final movie.

Can I synchronize ceremony cameras and a recorder?

Yes. Ceremony Multicam accepts up to five video files and up to five recorder files. Review the alignment and camera choices before delivery.

Can I finish in Premiere Pro, Resolve or Final Cut Pro?

Yes. Wedit provides timeline export and editor handoff options. Keep the original media connected, and check the imported sequence before continuing with color and sound.

Is Wedit a monthly subscription?

The All access launch offer is $699/month for unlimited weddings, with Highlights, Full movie and Reels when available. Available through October 31, 2026; cancel anytime. Can I try it before purchasing?

Yes. Wedit provides trial access in the app. Your account shows the available trial and purchase options before you run a project.
