1. What we collect

Account details (name, email), billing information (handled by Paddle.com, our merchant of record — we never see your full card details), the footage and songs you upload for processing, and basic usage and diagnostic data that helps us keep Wedit working.

2. How we use it

To process your weddings and deliver edited films, to operate and improve the service, to provide support, and to send you essential service emails (like "your film is ready"). We do not sell your data.

3. Your footage

Uploaded footage is stored securely on AWS (EU region), used only to produce your films, and is accessible only to your account. You can ask us to delete a project's footage at any time by emailing ideweq@gmail.com.

4. AI processing

Wedit uses third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic and Google) to analyze footage during editing. Frames are sent for analysis only as needed to edit your film and are subject to those providers' data-processing terms. We do not permit our providers to train on your content.

5. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses only what is needed for it to function and to measure basic, aggregate traffic. Our checkout is provided by Paddle, which sets cookies necessary for payment processing and fraud prevention.

6. Data retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Project footage and results are kept so you can re-edit and re-download; you may request deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data — email ideweq@gmail.com and we will take care of it. If you are in the EU/EEA you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
